Hunter is an owner of Suffolk Insurance Corporation, as well as a producing agent. Hunter was born and raised in Suffolk and Graduated from Randolph-Macon College with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1984. Hunter has practiced in the insurance field for over 36 years.
Professionally, Hunter is a member and Past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia, a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and Professional Insurance Agent’s Association.
Hunter has served on many community boards including Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, Suffolk Peanut Fest, Suffolk-Nansemond Historical Society and was Past President of Riddick’s Folly. Hunter is currently a member of the Suffolk Rotary Club.
Hunter enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, traveling and spending time with family and friends at Lake Gaston.
